I’m keenly aware that the very mention of the controversy surrounding global warming - or “Climategate” and “Climategate 2.0 as it’s commonly referred to - will turn a reader off faster than swallowing half a bottle of sleeping pills. It’s difficult reading. It’s loaded with nine syllable words and is about as boring as boring can be. But, it’s important because the entire fiasco has turned into a political money-making scheme that makes Bernie Madoff look like a piker. It has been well-documented that former Vice President Al Gore alone has made millions of dollars advancing what is now considered junk science.

There’s only one source that I totally depend on for fair and honest reporting on Climategate and Climategate 2.0 - that’s the blog known as “Watts Up With That”, presented by Anthony Watts, and a site that has recorded over 97 million page views.
